Paper Duplexing Upgrade

Description

This is an optional upgrade for your business card order. You must make sure to add one of the following business card options to your cart when you checkout.

• Letterpress Business Cards
• Foil Business Cards
• Thermography Business Cards
• Flat Printed Business Cards
• Spot UV Business Cards (not available due to laminated finish)

Duplexing is the process of gluing two layers of paper together. It takes a thick business card and will make it double-thick, you can see sample paper thicknesses below for cotton and colorplan paper stock.

Edge coloring is such a unique finish to add to your business cards. Whether you’re ordering letterpress, foil stamped, or flat printing business cards, edge coloring will add a pop of color and is a great way to tie in an accent or brand color to a white card.

Specs for edge coloring are below:

• Finishing: Glue Stock (2ply)
• The final thickness depends on the stock (cotton, colorplan, or smooth).
• Duplexing doubles the paper thickness of your business card:
  • Cotton 21pt thick paper becomes 42pt
  • Colorplan 14pt thick paper becomes 28pt
• Timing: + 1 additional business days for your business card order.

Rush production is available upon request. All edge coloring is done by hand in our Long Island, NY studio.
